Acceptance of Terms

By using Shrink.fast, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Sandquist Media AB.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. By using Shrink.fast, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

Description of Service

Shrink.fast provides batch image compression services. You upload images, and we compress them according to your selected settings. We support various image formats and provide options for adjusting compression quality and output format.

User Responsibilities

When using our service, you agree to:

• Only upload images you have the right to use and process
• Not upload illegal, harmful, or malicious content
• Not attempt to breach our security or disrupt the service
• Use the service in compliance with all applicable laws
• Not use the service to infringe on intellectual property rights

Fair Use and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Using automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or interact with our service
• Reverse engineering our API or attempting to access non-public endpoints
• Circumventing any rate limits or usage restrictions
• Overloading our infrastructure with excessive requests
• Using the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Uploading content that violates any third-party rights

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these fair use policies.

Data Retention

We automatically delete your images after processing. Guest users' images are deleted after 1 hour. Registered users' images are deleted after 24 hours. We are not responsible for any data loss after these time periods. You should download your compressed images promptly.

Credits and Payments

Our service operates on a credit system. Free users receive a daily allowance of credits. Additional credits can be purchased. All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law. Credits do not expire while your account is active.

Right of Withdrawal Waiver (EU Customers)

If you are an EU consumer, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from digital service purchases. By purchasing credits and immediately using them, you expressly consent to the service being performed and acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal. You may still request a refund within 14 days for any unused credits.

Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the images you upload. We do not claim ownership of your content. We only process your images to provide the compression service you request. Our service, including our code, design, and branding, is owned by Sandquist Media AB and protected by intellectual property laws.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sandquist Media AB and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your violation of these Terms of Use
• Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property rights
• Any content you upload that is illegal, infringing, or otherwise objectionable
• Your use of the service in violation of any applicable law

This indemnification obligation survives the termination of these terms and your use of the service.

Limitation of Liability

Shrink.fast is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid to us in the past 12 months, or 100 SEK if you have not made any payments.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service immediately ceases.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden.
